On Wednesday evening, (March 16) I attended NYC SharePoint Dev Group and I walked out with a handful of notes :-)
In this session, Kathryn Birstein walkthrough a calendaring application from requirements to deployment, discussing the most important decision points and demonstrating how calculated fields, a bit of Javascript, a third party web part and a feature with four event receivers combined to create the solution.
It was a good meeting and Kathryn as always give many useful tips. She is one of the few people that I know who enjoy sharing technology information. Thanks, Kathryn!
